This point is a true masterpiece! Morion is the name reserved for smoky quartz pieces that are so dark, they are nearly black and impenetrable by the light. This piece is also double terminated, which is one of my favorite formations – grown without a connection point, the crystal is able to form points on both ends. Complete with some feldspar inclusions and some elestial/cathedral formations, this piece is one of a kind! Pieces such as this are quite difficult to find within Africa – locally, it is considered a rarity!
