This Labradorite sphere features displays of turquoise-blue flash, some large patches, and some twinkling from within the dark matrix like stars in the sky. Labradorite is a Feldspar mineral also known as “fire stone”. It contains a spectacular iridescent light refraction called “labradorescence”. Revered by Ancient Inuits, it was believed to contain the frozen fire of the northern lights. In 1770, it was named “Labradorite” when Moravian missionaries discovered it on the Labradorite peninsula of Canada.
Labradorite resonates with the third eye and crown chakras, and is said to be deeply connected with wisdom and intuition. Said to be a stone of transformation and insight.
