2.5″ Septarian Standing Freeform from Madagascar

This standing freeform features beautiful sections of yellow calcite in a spider-like pattern. Septarian stone, also known as Septerye and Dragon Stone, is a concretion created from multiple minerals. The sandy colored sections are Limestone, the host stone. Over time cracks in the stone are filled with calcium, which crystalizes into Aragonite and Calcite in distinct brown and yellow bands. This Freeform measures 2.5″ tall and weighs 8.4 oz. Made from Septarian Stone, mined and polished in Madagascar.
