This beautiful geode half features a raw outside shell, which has been cracked open to reveal fine drusy chalcedony crystals within – these are micro crystals that form a glittery coating over the interior. I obtained this piece from an estate sale. While I do not know the original location this piece was collected, it is from here in the USA, and opened by the collector himself.
