Rare 3.5 Lb Raw Super Seven Root #2 Naturally Terminated 8″

This piece measures 8 x 3 x 4″ and weighs 3.5 Lb. From Tocantins, Brazil

Super 7 is a naturally occurring mix of Amethyst, Smoky and Clear Quartz, Rutile, Goethite, Lepidocrocite, and Cacoxenite. It is desirable both for collectors, as well as spiritualists. It is also known as Melody Stone, or Sacred 7. Typically, it is seen on the market in rough chunks or smaller polished pieces. It is very difficult to find in a natural termination, especially in a large piece such as this. These points were a fairly recent discovery in Brazil and there are very few currently on the market. Originally, these points did have a light red hematite coating on the point, and while traces do remain, especially on the sides, it has been lightly polished off to reveal the beautiful blend of minerals underneath. In this particular piece, I especially love the very distinct layering, telling the story of this piece. The bottom half of this piece is actually Chevron Amethyst. But there is a distinct line where you can see the material transitioned to Super 7, creating the rest of the layers to the termination. This is a true collector’s piece!
