This carving weighs 14.2 oz, and measures 3.5 x 2.5 x 1.5″. Made from Malachite, mined and hand-carved in the Dominican Republic of the Congo.

This beautiful bird carving is made from ethereal green Malachite. The swirls and orbs of this vibrant material complement the flow and design of the bird it represents – I believe an Ibis. This material is mined by villagers in the DRC, and it is a joy to support these communities. *PLEASE NOTE: This piece has been repaired at the neck, shown in the pictures. Priced accordingly.
