7″ Rich Purple Amethyst Root from Brazil – Singer!

From Bahia, Brazil. This piece weighs 7.7 Oz, and measures 7 x 1.25 x 1.25″

This beautiful Amethyst root features deep purple coloring, some rainbows within the tip, a long well-defined root, and some Chevron banding throughout. This piece is also a singer – when tapped at the end, it resonates and produces a soft chime. Pieces such as this are also known as “Dragons Teeth”, and they are my very favorite crystal formation.

Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is historically connected with royalty. It is believed to be a stone of serenity and spirituality and is associated with the third eye and crown chakras.
