This large lepidolite specimen has a deep beautiful color and is extremely flashy! This mineral grows in aggregate layers of thin sheets, layered together in a “book” formation. Lepidolite is a type of Mica, and the color is caused by manganese within the material. It is high in lithium content, although as a colorless element, it does not cause color variations. Lithium is highly sought after for use in electronics (batteries) and is also used in mood-balancing drugs. For this reason, Lepidolite is believed to assist in balancing the emotions.

Lepidolite resonates primarily with the third eye, heart and crown chakras, and is believed to balance all the chakras. It has a soothing energy and is known to soothe stress and anxiety.
