This piece measures 3 x 2 x 0.75″ and weighs 3.2 Oz. Made from Labradorite, mined and polished in Madagascar.
This flashy half-polished Labradorite slab features a stunning display of blue angsome yellow flash, which lights up the entire front of this polished piece. However, flip it over; the back is entirely raw and contains some beautiful flash as wel! This combination of raw and polished Labradorite is one of my favorites – you can appreciate the perfection of the polished stone, while also enjoying the beauty of the natural stone. Labradorite is a Feldspar mineral also known as “fire stone”. It contains a spectacular iridescent light refraction called “labradorescence”. Revered by Ancient Inuits, it was believed to contain the frozen fire of the northern lights. In 1770, it was named “Labradorite” when Moravian missionaries discovered it on the Labradorite peninsula of Canada.
Labradorite resonates with the third eye and crown chakras, and is said to be deeply connected with wisdom and intuition. Said to be a stone of transformation and insight.
