The entire face of this piece lights up with a distinct lavender flash, laced with slight orange and pink undertones. Labradorite is a Feldspar mineral also known as “fire stone”. It contains a spectacular iridescent light refraction called “labradorescence”. Revered by Ancient Inuits, it was believed to contain the frozen fire of the northern lights.
