This piece features a large drusy pocket on two faces, is filled with white and blue banding, and coated in microcrystalline sparkle. Blue Lace agate is a variety of Chalcedony. It features a distinct soft blue color, delicate banding, and sparkling crystal pockets. Every surface sparkles in the light, due to the micro-crystalline nature of this material. These beautiful crystals are true African gems! This Namibian material tends to form in thinner plates, rather than the hollow geodes seen out of Malawi. While blue lace agate itself is not especially rare, this Namibian material is.
