2.5″ Pharaoh Stone | Pyrite in Basalt Freeform | Rare!

As rare as the ancient kings, Pharoah Stone is aptly named. A naturally occurring mix of sparkling pyrite and black basalt, this is a powerful combination stone which is deceptively heavy for its size. The stark contrast of the sparkling gold pyrite against the void of black basalt enhances and complements the differences in these two materials. Truly a rare find – this material has been found in limited quantities in only one location – the Iron Duke Mine in Zimbabwe.  This exceptional stone is truly hard to find and I am honored to be able to offer it in the shop!
