This is a beautiful palm stone features a large purple opal section, with light dendritic activity near the top and bottom. Dendrites are formed from manganese and iron, which begin in cracks throughout the stone and form into an intricate fractal fern-like pattern. Purple dendritic opal is very similar to Tiffany Stone (found in the US), but is from Madagascar and more affordable. This material is fairly hard to find, exceptionally beautiful and highly sought after.
