This beautiful clear quartz chunk is packed with wisps of fine red and gold rutile, which are titanium fibers. Energetically, this creates a breathtakingly strong and effective crystal. Geologically it is a mystery – no one knows for sure if the rutile forms before, after, or at the same time and rate the quartz does.

Rutile is said to resonate with all the chakras, but especially the root, sacral and solar plexus. It is said to hold the energy of transformation.
