This amethyst weighs 0.8 oz and measures 1.5″ at it’s widest dimension. From Chiredzi, Zimbabwe
This beautiful Amethyst features mostly smoky coloring, with the original, central Amethyst point presenting a soft lilac coloring. This is one of my favorite growth habits; a scepter is a secondary growth/point, formed over an original point which forms a “stem” at the base. Elestial Amethyst – also known as “skeletal” or “window” amethyst, features unusual and irregular growth habits, including tightly grouped and/or overlapping clusters, extrusions, inclusions and curious etchings. Bands of smoky color are often seen as well.
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is historically connected with royalty. It is believed to be a stone of serenity and spirituality and is associated with the third eye and crown chakras. Elestial formations are said to contain powerful energy, with the ability to increase our spiritual connection and intuition. They are also said to assist the body in adapting from stressful events – a damaged energy field can be recentered to a harmonious state.
