The founder
Hi! I’m Jenna
Born and raised in Mid-coast Maine, I grew up on a small farm amidst beautiful forests and lakes, every day spent outdoors. Besides rocks and minerals, my interests include: Music (piano from age 6), birds of all kinds, and I’m also an aerial dancer and former Aerobics Instructor. I am married to the love of my life, and we have a beautiful and spunky daughter who loves shiny things just as much as Mum.

How it all started
First: Collector
Shiny things and hidden treasures have always fascinated me. Growing up in Maine, we were surrounded by Mica, and even found fossils a few times. I enjoyed the occasional visit to rock shops, but they were limited in selection and were VERY expensive. That changed when crystals hit the internet. One of my high school friends opened a crystal shop. She had so many different stones from around the world, and they were all affordable. The flood gates were opened, and I started collecting and learning as much as I could possibly find on these amazing treasures of the earth.
The Piece that started it all
The amethyst scepter you see pictured here has become our mascot: it is the first statement (large) piece I owned, and the one that started it all. It inspired me to think and dream a little bigger, outside of myself.
2022 – Opened Shop
As a military family, we move every three years or so. I quickly found that a large crystal collection is difficult and heavy to move. So a few months before another move, in April 2022 I opened Drusy Dreams on Etsy to de-stash some personal pieces. I didn’t expect much to happen, but things started selling and I started getting very happy feedback from customers. Some even life changing. It was then I discovered the joy of finding crystals to SHARE, rather than for myself. Quite incidentally, at this time I was connected with a remarkable wholesaler. And so the shop was born.
2023 – Website launch!
After selling on Etsy for a year, we’ve expanded to a website, our own home on the internet. The Etsy shop will remain, as it has done well for us. But our website is where everything happens first. Welcome!
Future Plans
Big Dreams
When we retire from the military, our goal is to return home to Maine and open a physical location. I would love to find a spot near water or surrounded by trees. My goal is to also create a “crystal walk” – a pathway open to the public, beautifully landscaped and featuring huge crystal display specimens, both local and exotic to the area.
