Ferruginous Quartz, also known as Hematite or Tangerine quartz, is quartz that has been coated or included with a layer of hematite, or iron oxide. This piece has a rich orange layer of hematite coating covering the surface of this cluster. This piece features a tabular growth formation (elongated, wide crystal growth – like a tablet), and another with lemurian lines on the side.
