These dogtooth calcite spears are a unique anomaly found only in Lesotho, Africa. Presenting layers of calcite interspersed with drusy quartz, this near-pseudomorph conglomerate is a fascinating formation. Glowing pink under UV light, these funky points are a standout, and a unique addition to any collection. This small cabinet sized specimen measures 5.25″ in length and weighs 4.8 oz. From Lesotho, Africa: these pieces were mined by a man named Albert at his favorite mountain for crystal hunting (hence the name).
