This beautiful, petrified wood heart features lovely color variations of brown, black and red. Included on the surface are two small drusy caves lined with sparkling quartz. Petrified wood is created when wood is submerged into sediment or volcanic ash. Over time, the organic matter slowly decomposes and is replaced with dissolved minerals, primarily silica. This heart is a large piece that will enhance any collection. The patterns and coloration of petrified wood create beautiful patterns; no two are ever alike.
