8 Carat Faceted Amethyst .925 Sterling Silver Earrings, Drusy Dreams Handmade

These gorgeous genuine amethyst faced earrings each weigh about 8 carats each. The ear wire is solid .925 sterling silver wire, which I formed into my favorite fishhook shape (doesn’t slip out!) Total drop length is about 1.25-1.37″ – see measurements of individual pairs at selection.

I created these earrings using stained glass techniques, which I learned working in my father’s glass shop during my childhood. I chose to use 21-gauge .925 Sterling wire for both the jump ring and ear wires – formed into my favorite style hook (doesn’t slip out!). The points are fashioned into hanging pendants using copper foil and Silvergleem lead-free solder.
