5″ Rich Purple Amethyst Root from Brazil

From Bahia, Brazil. This piece weighs 8.5 Oz and measures 5 x 1.8 x 1″

This beautiful Amethyst root features rich coloring, some rainbows within the tip, a lovely well-defined root, and some Chevron banding throughout. Pieces such as this are also known as “Dragons Teeth”, and are my very favorite crystal formation.

Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is historically connected with royalty. It is believed to be a stone of serenity and spirituality and is associated with the third eye and crown chakras.
