3″ Sparkling Witches Finger / Fairy Quartz / White Spirit Quartz Cluster from Africa 2.3 oz

This piece weighs 2.3 oz and 3.25 x 1.5 x 1.5″. From Boekenhouthoek, South Africa.

This sparkling cluster is a variation of Spirit Quartz. With elongated points covered with a finer crystallization (drusy) and interesting knobby growths, this style of growth has affectionately become known as “witches fingers” or “fairy quartz” and is harder to find than the typical spirit quartz. This  larger cluster will stand for display – but use caution as it is a little unsteady in a standing position. The beautiful golden tones in this piece come from Limonite deposits which grew alongside the crystals.

Witches Fingers and Spirit Quartz are a variation of quartz and therefore resonate with the crown chakra. They are believed to amplify the properties of other stones and transform negative energy. They are believed to be especially useful in aligning all the chakras.
